According to his own account, while experimenting with sleep-learning in 1958 Robert Allan Monroe<\/strong><\/a> experienced an unusual phenomenon which he described as sensations of paralysis and vibration accompanied by a bright light that appeared to be shining on him from a shallow angle. Monroe goes on to say that this occurred another 9 times over the next six weeks, culminating in an out-of-body experience. Monroe recorded his account in his 1971 book “Journeys Out Of The Body<\/em>” and went on to become a prominent researcher in the field of human consciousness. Monroe later authored two more books “Far Journeys and Ultimate Journey<\/em>” and in 1978 he founded the Monroe Institute<\/strong><\/a>. A non-profit education and research foundation that described itself as being “devoted to the exploration of human consciousness”. In 1975, Monroe registered a patent for an audio-visual device designed to stimulate brain functions until the left and right hemispheres became synchronized. Monroe held that this state, dubbed Hemi-Sync<\/strong> (hemispherical synchronization<\/em>), could be used to promote mental well being or to trigger an altered state of consciousness. Monroe’s concept was based on an earlier hypothesis known as binaural beats and has since been expanded on a commercial basis by the self help industry.<\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n

This knowledge is putted here with the intention to help and to can enframe some people that can unknown this concrete knowledge, more properly people, for instance, that can “suffer”, in same way, with experiences out of the body<\/em>. It is our intention that these ones can find here a new perspective for their own experiences.<\/p>\n

Just as it can be object of intellectual study, or in a meditative approach, or in other words, by training ourselves, for instance, to expand our conscience. Knowing that ourconscience is not located only in the brain, where seemingly it seems for us that is, as it is by common sense (we could perceived by meditation that our conscience is non-local).<\/p>\n

It could be important at this time for some people, or for those who wants to investigate these matters, the Quantum Physics<\/strong> study, because it teach us that the conscience is not-located and it is in “everywhere”. So the real understanding of this could be experienced by intuition through meditation.<\/p>\n

Thus, it is with this intention that is putted this knowledge here, for we can be the masters of ourselves, the scientists of the Truth and that we look for that same Truth through tools, keys that are given to us; by Yoga or by other knowledge, so that we make our road more and more consciously. This is one more key, a door that can be open on that road.<\/p>\n

In this way, this scientist was a pioneer in this area and we can advise the reading of some books of him. Most of all the experience of Robert Monroe is documented for the public in three books, already published in 8 languages:<\/p>\n
