Because you give precedence to worldly things, God appears to have receded to the background.<\/p>\n<p>If you give up all else and seek Him alone, He alone will remain as the I, the Self.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">(Maharshi\u2019s Gospel, 55).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2206\" src=\"https:\/\/kriyayoga-mahavatarbabaji.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/om_simbolo1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"36\" height=\"32\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Libro: Ramana Maharshi en sus proprias palabras<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If one enquires \u201cWho am I?\u201d within the mind, the individual \u201cI\u201d falls down abashed as soon as one reaches the Heart and immediately Reality manifests itself spontaneously as \u201cI-I.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Although it reveals itself as \u201cI,\u201d it is not the ego but the Perfect Being, the Absolute Self.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">(Ramana Maharshi, FVR, verse 30.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; Thoughts alone constitute the mind; and for all thoughts the base or source is the \u201cI\u201d thought. \u201cI\u201d is the mind. If we go inward questing for the source of the \u201cI,\u201d the \u201cI\u201d topples down. This is the jnana enquiry.<\/p>\n<p>Where the &#8220;i&#8221; disappears the &#8220;I-I&#8221; shines, spontaneously. This is Infinite, the All (Purnam).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">(Ramana Maharshi, GFB, chapter 4.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kriyayoga-mahavatarbabaji.com\/images\/stories\/Raman-Maharshi2.jpg\" alt=\"Raman-Maharshi2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The \u2018I\u2019 casts off the illusion of \u2018I\u2019 and yet remains as \u2018I\u2019. Such is the paradox of Self-Realisation..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2206\" src=\"https:\/\/kriyayoga-mahavatarbabaji.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/om_simbolo1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"42\" height=\"37\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Libro de Ramana Maharshi: Ensi\u00f1anzas Espirituales<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYour duty is to be and not to be this or that. &#8216;I am that I am&#8217; sums up the whole truth. The method is summed up in the words &#8216;Be still&#8217;. What does stillness mean? It means destroy yourself. Because any form or shape is the cause for trouble. Give up the notion that &#8216;I am so and so&#8217;. All that is required to realize the Self is to be still. What can be easier than that?\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2206\" src=\"https:\/\/kriyayoga-mahavatarbabaji.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/om_simbolo1.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"47\" height=\"42\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Libro: Ramana Maharshi en sus proprias palabras<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Surrender once for all and be done with the desire. So long as the sense of doership is retained there is the desire. That is also personality. If this goes the Self is found to shine forth pure. The sense of doership is the bondage and not the actions themselves.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>Be still<\/em> and know that I am God\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Here <em>stillness<\/em> is total surrender without a vestige of individuality..<\/p>\n<p><em>Stillness<\/em> will prevail and there will be no agitation of mind.<\/p>\n<p>Agitation of mind is the cause of desire, the sense of doership and personality. If that is stopped there is quiet.
