God is Spirit; the Impersonal is immaterial. But in creating the physical world, He became God the Father. Assuming the role of Creator, He became personal. He became visible: this entire universe is the body of God.
The Omnipresent Lord is ever active; there is no place without some form of life. With unlimited prodigality, God ceaselessly projects protein forms—inexhaustible manifestations of His cosmic energy.
Paramahansa Yogananda

According to the master Paramahansa Yogananda, God is simultaneously personal and impersonal. He is the absolute reality, the Eternal Spirit, and also manifests as the personal Creator of the universe, the Heavenly Father. Thus, God is the Absolute – the source of all Existence – and also a personal entity with whom one can have a relationship.
Therefore, Yogananda does not separate God into two distinct entities, but rather recognizes the apparent duality of his nature: God as the fundamental reality, and God as the personal Creator.
